Urpolan kartano (Urpola manor), Humppila, Finland

The wedding celebration will take place in the scenic Urpola manor. We'll have a dinner inside the manor, and the rest of the activities will be in the courtyard. The courtyard features a dance pavilion, a barbecue shelter, and several saunas by a spring-fed pond.

Urpola Manor

Urpola is a jugend style manor, with the original main building constructed in 1924. The manor remains in the ownership of the same family to this day.

The saunas

On Friday, at least two saunas will be heated: the boat sauna and the smoke sauna. On Saturday, one sauna will be warm all night. The sauna area has separate dressing and shower facilities for men and women.

The smoke sauna - Viking Sauna

The Viking Sauna is an authentic old-fashioned smoke sauna, built using the traditional clay log method. The smoke sauna's stove is heated for about seven hours before the initial steam is thrown, ensuring a long and thorough heating process that guarantees gentle steam.

The Viking Sauna's pitch-black steam room can accommodate a larger group, with up to 20 people fitting on the benches at the same time. The dim light, scents and lingering warmth are magical.

Boat Sauna

A wood-heated sauna, built from a wooden boat. Its beautiful shape allows for gentle steam even for larger groups.

Spring-fed pond

A refreshing spring-fed pond offers a chance to cool off while sauna bathing. Remember to bring your swimsuit!
