Travel

Urpola Manor is located by a major road and less than a two-hour drive from Helsinki, making it relatively easy to reach. We can assist with booking public transportation if needed. We are prepared to pick up guests from Humppila railway station and bus stops.

BY CAR

The manor is located along Highway 8, so there are no bumpy gravel roads, and there is plenty of parking space. From Helsinki, it takes approx 1h 40 min to drive to Urpola manor.

PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION

BY PLANE

If you're taking a flight, the simplest way will be to fly to Helsinki. From Helsinki airport, you can take a bus or a train. With public transportation, you can reserve 3-4 hours to get from Helsinki to Urpola manor. 

BY TRAIN

By train, you can first travel from 'Helsinki-Vantaan lentoasema' to  'Tikkurilan asema`. Then, the train from 'Tikkurila' to 'Humppila' with a change in Tampere or Toijala. The tickets can be booked form here. There will be someone picking you up from Humppila train station. 

Note! Train ticket prices in Finland are relatively affordable if you book them well in advance (e.g., 1-2 months). The closer you book to the travel date, the more expensive they become. 

BY BUS

The busses from Helsinki to Humppila run from 'Kamppi' to 'Humppila lasitehdas' and can be booked here. You can use the centrum bound train to get to 'Kamppi'  if you arrive by plane. If you arrive from elsewhere, you may use the same website to plan your trip. Humppila lasitehdas bus stop is a few minutes drive away from Humppila manor, but probably too far to walk from.
